The music and the lit don't seem to fit (if you'll pardon the rhyme), but it works. Really.  :-) Has anyone noticed the resurgence of all things Jane Austen?  All my girlfriends are ecstatic, but I'm not sure how I feel. Don't get me wrong, I love Austen's work, but it just seems like this trend came out of nowhere.  Has it been building for years and I just never paid enough attention? Anyway, I guess I'm still a bit peeved that earlier writers like Burney are still being short-changed.  People have even gone as far as to call her a proto-Austen, when if it wasn't for Burney most of Austen's work would never have come into being! 1. Being Sick Really, this ought to be self-explanatory.  In case it's not, let me reiterate -- I despise being sick.  I'm tired, I'm cranky, and I just don't feel good. And you probably don't care, but, then again, I'm sick, so I don't care that you don't care. Or something like that. 2. Extended Daylight Savings Time Just a few days ago, it was light at 5:30 p.m.  Now it's dark at 5:30 p.m. No transition, no gradual shifting of light and dark, just an abrupt change.  I dislike this.  Greatly.
